USFS Synchronized Skating Teams |
The Frederick FSC is proud to have three synchronized skating teams competing in USFS competitions.
During the 2007-2008 season, we are fielding Beginner, Preliminary, and Open Adult Teams.
Sparklers - Beginner Team
The Frederick FSC's Beginner Team is comprised of 8-16 skaters of any age.
Skaters must have passed Basic 5 by September 1, 2007.
The team's current skating season begins September 5, 2007, and ends April 9, 2008
Sparklers - Preliminary Team
The Frederick FSC's Preliminary Synchronized Skating Team consists of skaters
ages 6-11 who have passed Pre-Preliminary Moves in the Field.
The team's current skating season begins September 8, 2007, and ends April 12, 2008.
Frederick Flair
The Open Adult Team truly loves to skate! Their members range in age from 29 to 70!
Many of these team members have passed official USFS Tests in
Ice Dancing, Freestyle,
Moves in the Field, and Figures.
The Flair's current skating season begins August 25, 2007,
and ends March 26, 2008.
These teams are looking forward to an exciting season which will include competing at
The Thanksgiving Classic in Massachusetts,
Dr. Porter Open in Michigan,
Colonials in Lowell, Massachusetts,
and Easterns in Richmond, Virginia.
They will also perform in local skating shows throughout the season.
